Ayati: a Quran desktop companion for daily work

Ayati is my Electron companion for Quranic reflection, prayer reminders, and desktop productivity.

What I'm building as a desktop companion who knows the Quran (inspired by Codex's pet feature): Ayati.

Site: ayati-website.vercel.app.

Ayati stays on screen while you work. Periodic verses with recitation, Tafsir, and reflection prompts. Prayer reminders. A to-do list and Pomodoro timer. Saved tadabbur / reflections. An animated desktop pet in the product vision. Screenshot-to-ayah reflection flows with Quran Foundation integration in the fuller build. Always-on-top companion mode.

Tech stack

Electron, TypeScript, React, Vite, Tailwind CSS, Quran Foundation API, AlAdhan API, and electron-updater. Solo developer.

How it differs from my mobile Quran apps

Al Muraja'ah is for memorization revision. QuranScroll is for phone reading habits. Ayati is for the desktop work session. Same faith context, different surface.
