I built usicsheffield.com for the University of Sheffield Islamic Circle: events, resources, and admin.

My latest society website (and still one of my favorites: just click the link): usicsheffield.com.
I built the official site for The Islamic Circle at the University of Sheffield (USIC). USIC was founded in 1964. The site gives Muslim students events, resources, membership info, and a blog in one place.

- Rate limiting and CSRF protection on forms (biggest lesson: add rate limiting or your hosting bill will teach you)
Tech stack
Next.js 15, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Radix UI, Lucide React, Firebase, and Firebase Admin SDK. Freelance developer work on the portfolio timeline from June to September 2025.
I also served on the USIC committee (marketing lead, then vice president, then president), so the site work sat next to real society ops: talks, sponsorships, membership growth.
