Overview

IHSAAN equips Muslim students with opportunities and networks to build careers rooted in faith, excellence, and service. I build both halves of its web presence: the public website at ihsaan.network, which presents IHSAAN's story, programmes, events, impact, and ways to get involved, and the member portal at portal.ihsaan.network, which gives members secure accounts and brings programmes, opportunities, events, mentoring, and resources into one platform.

Technology

  • Next.js 16
  • React 19
  • TypeScript
  • Tailwind CSS 4
  • shadcn/ui

  • Convex
  • Resend
  • Cloudflare Workers (OpenNext)
  • MCP

Key features

  • Public website: rebuilt pages on a shared site shell with editorial photo heroes, scroll-aware header, and programme dropdown navigation
  • Public website: programmes catalogue with detail pages, events calendar, About story with map chapters, and an Impact page
  • Public website: native blog and Career Essentials guide pages, plus hackathon and programme photo galleries
  • Public website: contact form with Resend email and Turnstile spam protection, and volunteer openings with an apply modal
  • Public website: shared SEO metadata, canonical URLs, legacy redirects, compressed media, and Cloudflare Workers deployment

Why it was built

  • To give IHSAAN a clear public home for its programmes, events, and ways to get involved
  • To give members one secure place for programmes, opportunities, events, and mentoring
  • To reduce duplicated forms, manual follow-up, and fragmented data for programme teams
